The Mountain Channel
The Mountain Channel Navigation is a new excursion in Southern Patagonia taking adventure tourism to the next level.
This full-day activity aboard our Fiordos del Sur II Catamaran begins in Puerto Natales and, after three hours, reaches Kawésqar National Park’s hidden corners. Stretching more than fifty kilometers long, The Mountain Channel offers incredible views of Roca Peninsula’s cliffs, exuberant vegetation, fjords and glaciers breaking off of Cordillera Sarmiento’s snow-capped peaks. If weather permits, we will see the imposing Mount Burney, an inactive, icy stratovolcano exceeding 1,500 meters above sea level, from a distance. Learn about the first inhabitants, colonizers and expeditions in the fjords of Última Esperanza Province.
